C.B.R.E.T. Exam
Please Note:
The written examination will be offered in the Spring in conjunction with the Practical examination, starting this Spring 2009. Only those candidates who meet the requirements for the Practical examination will be allowed to attempt both examinations at this time.
Deadline for applications for the Spring 2010 examination is January 15, 2010. Please contact Rohit (Roy) Sharma, CBRET Registrar for an application form. The exact date and location of the examinations TBA.
CBRET will continue to offer the Written examination on its own in September. Those wishing to write the Written examination in September 2010 should submit a candidacy application form to the Registrar as soon as possible if they haven’t already.
Part I - Written Examination is held in the spring (see the notes above) and fall of each year. The spring exam is held in conjunction with the practical exam at the same site. The fall exam, held in September, is offered in the following cities:
Halifax, Charlottetown, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Vancouver, and St.John's.

Examination Fee Schedule:
Candidacy Fee: $50.00
Part I Examination Fee:  $300.00
Part II Examination Fee:  $500.00
Part II Rewrite / Section:  $200.00

Application for Candidacy
All applicants are required to register as a candidate to enter the exam system. Persons who have received training in Canada
must register as a candidate one (1) year prior to taking the Part I examination. Foreign applicants must register as a candidate before their
qualifications are reviewed to determine eligibility. Candidacy application forms are available on this website (by clicking on "Candidacy" under "Examination Fee Schedule" above), or by contacting the CBRET Registrar.
